CONGRATULATIONS, RENO ACES!

2022 CHAMPS

This year, NNRMLS proudly sponsored the Reno Aces, and it is with great enthusiasm that we celebrate their 2022 Pacific Coast League Championship. The Reno Aces are the Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball, playing their games at the Greater Nevada Field in downtown Reno since 2009. The 2022 Aces season began on April 5 and ran through October 12 with 148 games played, making it the most extended season in franchise history.

Team members from NNRMLS attended the home opener on April 12 to celebrate the new partnership and cheer on the team.

Over the six-month course, the Aces faced unforeseen challenges including a snowstorm and smokey encounters from wildfires. Despite the obstacles, the Aces set multiple records this season: the most games played (148), the most wins (86), at-bats (5,094), innings pitched (1313.2), and more.

“Through grit and determination, it did not deter the club from having one of its most historic and record-breaking seasons in franchise history, culminating in the team’s second Pacific Coast League Championship following a 6-2 victory over the El Paso Chihuahuas as Las Vegas native Jake Hager’s three-run home run gave the team the offensive spark and capped his PCL Championship Game MVP performance in his hometown.” – Reno Aces.

NNRMLS was honored to help celebrate our hometown champs on Thursday, Oct. 20 at their Celebration Reception at the Greater Nevada Field. Congratulations on a successful season, Aces! The Aces kick off the 2023 season on March 31, 2023, at the Greater Nevada Field.
